Key objectives
The main objective of this patch is to fix a bug with our vulnerability detection on Windows machines where an incorrect file version is being detected. This lead to a certain vulnerability being detected incorrectly on a number of devices.
As we were going to release a patch we found it fitting to include a couple of other changes that relate to features and improvements implemented in 3.0.0.
